THF Development Advisory
THF Development Advisory is designed to provide players and families with trusted guidance, structure, and support throughout the hockey development process. Through one full year and monthly advisory calls, ongoing communication, and personalized development planning, players receive honest feedback, strategic direction, and experienced insight on training, development, and navigating the prep, junior, college, and pro hockey pathway.
Your family’s advisor through THF Development Advisory will be Colin McDonald, a former 13-year professional hockey player who spent time with the Philadelphia Flyers, New York Islanders, Edmonton Oilers, and Pittsburgh Penguins following a four-year collegiate career at Providence College. Colin also represented team USA at the 2014 World Championships. He currently lives on the South Shore of Boston with his wife and four children, and brings extensive experience in player development, the professional hockey path, and long-term athlete mentorship.

As part of the onboarding process, you will create your own username and password after purchase to access the THF platform and personal dashboard. This dashboard will be used for communication, scheduling monthly advisory sessions, and accessing recorded sessions and coaching notes following each meeting.
